SUMMARY:Coastal Cleanup at Powell’s Cove Park
DESCRIPTION:It is spring cleaning time on the East River! Join us as we clean the polluted coast at Powell’s Cove Park in College Point\, and work shoulder to shoulder with like-minded people who want to make things better. We can and will make a difference! Our event is part of the Riverkeeper Sweep\, in which volunteers at 100+ locations from Brooklyn to Albany are cleaning our riverbanks together. We’ll be out there even in light rain\, but not if it turns to a torrential downpour. \nIn partnership with Riverkeeper and Partnerships for Parks’ “It’s My Park Day!”
