SUMMARY:Be part of our "advance team" for the Holiday Tree at MacNeil Park!
DESCRIPTION:In advance of the Dec. 15 holiday tree lighting at MacNeil Park\, co-sponsored by CPN and Sen. John Liu\, we need to string the lights onto the tree! \nWe will have people in a boom truck hanging the lights way up high\, but could use a few volunteers on the ground to get the lights ready to hang. We also would love to have volunteers contribute candy canes\, hot chocolate\, Christmas carolers…anything to make the event extra memorable! Contact Kat at kathryncervino(at)gmail.com if you’d like to help out. \nWe’ll do this during the week of Dec.9…time and date to follow. \nThanks to HSP for donating the truck for the tree-trimming!

DESCRIPTION:Join CPN and State Senator John Liu for the first annual Holiday Tree Lighting at MacNeil Park! \nEnjoy some free hot chocolate and watch as we turn on the lights! The tree will light up the night for about two weeks\, and will be the start of a festive tradition. \nStart time will be sometime around 5 pm….more details to follow. \nEnter at the baseball field at 119th st. and Poppenhusen Ave.\, and walk up the hill toward the carved beech trees.  \n  \n
